Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore, is a remarkable Hollywood actor and writer whose talents have earned an acclaim from critics as well as recognition. Sagittarius. She was born in North Carolina, on 3rd December, 1960. She's one of the three youngest children of Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a paratrooper. She has English as well as Scottish heritage. Moore's dad moved around a lot because of his work. It was it difficult for her to meet and keep friendships. Moore's family moved to Germany and she attended Frankfurt American High School, where her first acting opportunities included in the stage. After completing the requirements for her B.F.A. in Theater at Boston University in 1983, Moore continued her education. In 1983 she graduated with a B.F.A. Moore was a graduate of the college at the time of her graduation in New York and started her career as an off-Broadway actress when she moved into New York. In 1985, she made her on-screen debut in an episode of The Edge of Night. She played the roles of Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in the show As the World Turns, which was her breakthrough. The show aired from 1988 to 1990 and was awarded an Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, her first film appearance came in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. The movie she later called a bad budget production. Short Cuts (1997) and 3 Women (1993), each Robert Altman productions, were her debut films. Her role in critically acclaimed Short Cuts (1993) brought her a number of nominations. Moore had her first major part in Safe which was a film from 1995. Steven Spielberg chose Moore to be the main character role in Jurassic Park: The Lost World. The movie was among the most popular movies released in the year. In 1999, she received an SAG Award for her performance in Magnolia. The Hours starred Moore in 2002, and was nominated for the nine Academy Awards along with Nicole Kidman. Moore has also starred in The Forgotten (2004), Freedomland 2006, Shelter 2010, etc. Non-Stop the film in which that she starred in, was released. Moore has appeared in numerous movies and television shows. Her most recent starring role is in When You Finish Saving the World (2022). In Hollywood, she has also made herself a writer for kids. She released her first book Freckleface Strawberry (2007) and was a N.Y.T. bestseller. best-seller resulting in it being made into a novel and musical. The author also released My Mom is Foreigner, an autobiography in 2013. Moore is an accomplished writer and actress. Her personal life, is therefore in the realm of the public domain. She was married John Robin in 1984 and they divorced in 1995. She has two kids and a son with Bart Freundlich whom she later married in 2003. Moore's main focus is her friends, family and career.
