Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was both a team member and the team captain for 2012's Fierce Five and the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. In the 2012 Olympics she won gold both on the team floor as well as the individual events. Bronze was taken with using the balance bar. In 2012, she became one of the few American athlete to earn the most medals in the Olympics. She took gold in the team event during the 2016 Olympics, which made her and Gabby Douglas the first Americans to be the first pair of gold medalists back-to-back. Additionally, she won silver medals at the all-around individual event and in floor exercise. After the 2002 Olympics, she was off for three years from gymnastics. In addition, she was an athlete on two world championship gold teams. Her favourite event is flooring exercise. She started learning gymnastics when she was two years older. Aly is a part of The Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization to honor and remember her mother. She hopes to become fashion-forward and increase the line of leotards and socks in the very near future. The book she is working on is entitled Fierce to be published at the end of this year.
